Wizard of Oz 70th Anniversary Encore
NCM Fathom and Warner Brothers are partnering to present a special
encore event celebrating the 70th Anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz” for
the first time in high definition. The event will begin with a special
introduction by Robert Osborne, a classic film historian and host of
Turner Classic Movies, who will share facts and stories about the
feature and provide a very special welcome message to theatre audiences
nationwide. Following will be a “theatre-only,” specially cut version
from the “Making of the Wizard of Oz” which includes behind the scenes
footage and rare archival interviews with the cast, then the new HD
version of “The Wizard of Oz”. The in-theatre event will be the first
time “The Wizard of Oz” will be shown in High Definition and is part of
a year-long celebration that Warner Brothers is hosting with special
Events that span across the country.

“Glenn Beck’s Christmas Sweater: A Return To Redemption” Live from the
Skirball Center in New York. Glenn Beck returns to the big screen just
in time for the holidays with his popular story The Christmas Sweater
which will include updates to the story as well as never-before-seen

Inside Doctors Without Borders: LIVE
Inside Doctors Without Borders: LIVE with Elizabeth Vargas – NCM Fathom
is partnering with Doctors Without Borders for a special one night event
looking into the lives of doctors providing emergency medical care in
remote areas around the world. The Event will be hosted by ABC News
“20/20” Anchor Elizabeth Vargas Live out of the Skirball Center in New
York City. Elizabeth Vargas will introduce the “Living in Emergency”
documentary which will be followed by a Live town hall discussion with
Doctors Without Borders aid workers and Vanity Fair Contributor
Sebastian Junger.

RiffTrax LIVE: Christmas Shorts-Stravaganza!
NCM Fathom and RiffTrax are partnering for a one of a kind holiday
event. Join Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett and a surprise
celebrity guest for an evening of Live riffing on a collection of 5-8
classic holiday shorts, including a wonderfully bizarre animated
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” classic commercials and a musical
short extolling the virtues of pork. Special guest Al Yankovic will be
part of the program.
